Nicole Segovia

Mental Health Counselor Student Intern

Life today can sometimes feel overwhelming, and it’s very possible that while trying to juggle our everyday responsibilities, we can start to lose ourselves. When this happens, we can oftentimes feel lost and alone. My goal is to help adults who are going through everyday stresses and struggles who feel like they need some additional support, so they may get past any obstacle that is standing in their way of living their best life. In addition, I am also here for individuals who are struggling with mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety, so that we may work together to find a way to learn not only how to live with their symptoms, but how to thrive in their lives.

I will use a combination of techniques from various counseling theories, including Person-Centered Therapy and Reality Therapy. I understand that each person is unique, so I will find an approach for each client that is going to best fit their needs. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space for clients so they may feel welcome and open to exploring their needs and concerns.
