Does Cypress Take Insurance for Counseling?

Great question! Cara Reiff and Chelsy Snell are accepting United Healthcare, Aetna, Optum and Oscar Insurances for therapy in the state of Florida. When scheduling with one of them, please note on your intake that you would like to use your insurance for therapy. Otherwise, we are considered “out of network.” We’re happy to give you a superbill so you can get reimbursed but we’ll leave the running around and chasing your insurance company up to you

What Can I Expect In My First Free Therapy Session?

Studies have shown that 90% of the change that you’ll experience is due to the relationship you build with your counselor. SO, we do a free 30min session with everyone to make sure you dig us and we dig you and will be helpful. Find the right therapist for you

How Much Does A Counseling Session Cost? How Long Does A Counseling Session Last?

With a growing staff of experts, our counselors range from $90-$150 per session with some charging additional rates for sessions booked at 6pm or after. If it would be helpful to know who charges what, shoot us an email and we’ll gladly help you out. A typical "counseling session" lasts between 45-60 mins. We recommend that our clients block out 60 minutes on their calendar to give you plenty of time.

What Is Cypress' Cancellation Policy for Therapy Sessions?

We prioritize our clients by holding space for each person we see. Life happens so if you need to cancel an appointment, we require you do so with AT LEAST a 24-hour notice so our counselors can offer that space to other clients who need an appointment that week. Should you forget and/or do not provide 24-hours notice, other clients miss out on an opportunity to be seen, which totally stinks.

Our system will happily send you an email and a text message to remind you of your appointment 48 hours prior to your session. We'll also send you a text an hour or so prior to your session because we know how wild life can get. Be sure to respond within 24 hours should you need to cancel at that time. Otherwise, anyone canceling an appointment with less than a 24-hour notice will be charged the full session fee.
