Bri Lauderdale

Register Mental Health Counseling Intern

I am currently a registered mental health counseling intern and have been an experienced yoga teacher (200 E-RYT) for 6 years. Wellness has many dimensions; my life’s intention is to gain the experience and knowledge necessary to be able to support others in their efforts to be well in their bodies, minds, and hearts. I work with adolescents and adults who may be struggling with anxiety, stress, self-esteem, body image issues, and/ or eating disorders. As a teacher, I offer a space for people to explore and strengthen their relationship with their bodies. As a counseling intern, I offer a space for people to explore and nourish their relationship with their minds.

My counseling approach integrates Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Polyvagal-Informed Therapy to create a collaborative and supportive environment. I incorporate mindfulness techniques to promote awareness of the relationship between mind, body, and self. I believe we are always in the process of becoming and I am here to support you in your efforts to become the most authentic expression of yourself.
