"It's easy to love the nice things about ourselves but true self-love is embracing the difficult parts that live in all of us." -Rupi Kaur

Developing a relationship with yourself is one of the hardest journeys you'll walk within your lifetime but it's also the most rewarding. By stepping into our journey of self-love we are also undoing a lot of things that were taught to us by others. We all grow up and learn things from other people, like our friends, family members, and intimate partners as well as society as a whole. These individuals in our life often shape us in different ways, with many of which are not our choice. For example, you may have a parent who chose a career path for you that you weren't passionate about, or maybe you weren't allowed to date that one person you loved because your friends and family didn't approve. Whatever your circumstance may be, struggles often arise from not feeling seen, heard, or understood.

Here in therapy, we are going to walk parts of the path together and move you closer to your most authentic self. I specialize in working with individuals and couples who struggle with anxiety, depression, addiction, body image, eating disorders, relationship difficulties, LGBTQIA+ issues, and self-love/relationship with self. I provide therapy both in-person and virtually and I primarily work with teens and adults. I hold a Masters in Mental Health Counseling,  a certification in Life Coaching, and training in fitness through NASM.

I know this next step coming into therapy is a challenging one but you've already committed to the biggest piece which is your healing. My job is to walk alongside you through this journey and to help you feel seen, heard, and understood. We will undo all of those lessons that were taught to you by others that cause hardship and together we will build you back up to whom you chose to be.
