I work with individuals of all ages, utilizing evidence-based treatments with a holistic approach to focus on the mind, body and spirit connection.  
My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for you to explore your personal growth and healing journey. I am here to provide inspiration and guidance, while providing tools to help you feel more balanced, authentic and empowered.


Together we will explore the root cause of your challenges, and work to redesign your thought patterns so that you can experience true, lasting change, and feel at peace in your life. Whatever you’re struggling with, you are not alone. I believe that being human is a lifelong practice,
and healing and change is always possible.

As a student therapist, Alison works under the supervision of a licensed professional to ensure the highest quality of care for her clients.

  • Trauma: I have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma. Whether it's a single event or complex trauma, I aim to create a safe and supportive environment for clients to process their experiences and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

 

  • Anxiety: Anxiety can be overwhelming and impact various aspects of life. I specialize in helping individuals identify triggers, manage anxious thoughts and emotions, and develop practical strategies to reduce anxiety and regain control.

 

  • Depression: I have expertise in supporting individuals struggling with depression. Through a combination of therapeutic techniques, I help clients explore the root causes of their depression, challenge negative thought patterns, and develop healthy coping skills to improve their overall well-being.

 

  • Mood Disorders: I am skilled in working with individuals facing mood disorders such as bipolar disorder or cyclopaedia. I assist clients in understanding their mood fluctuations, managing symptoms, and establishing stability in their daily lives.

 

  • Disordered Eating: I have a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding disordered eating behaviors and body image issues. I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their relationship with food, develop a healthier self-image, and cultivate a balanced approach to nourishment.

 

  • Perfectionism: Perfectionism can lead to high levels of stress and self-criticism. I specialize in helping individuals overcome the limitations of perfectionism, fostering self-acceptance, and promoting a healthier sense of achievement and self-worth.

  • Alison utilizes evidence-based treatments that have been proven effective in clinical practice. Drawing from various therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), she tailors her interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.

  • Somatic: Recognizing the mind-body connection, Alison incorporates somatic techniques to help clients access and release stored emotions and trauma. By integrating body awareness into therapy, she supports holistic healing and personal growth.
