Rayna Greene, MS
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Hi, I’m Rayna! I’m passionate about helping children and adolescents navigate life’s challenges and supporting them as they grow, learn, and better understand themselves. I believe therapy should be a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where clients can be themselves, express their feelings, and feel truly heard and understood. Building a genuine connection with each client is very important to me, and I strive to meet each person where they are and create an environment where they feel comfortable opening up. My approach combines person-centered therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am certified in play therapy and am currently working toward my Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credential. I especially enjoy working with children and using play, creativity, and different activities to help them express their emotions and work through things that may be difficult to put into words. With teens, I enjoy helping them better understand themselves, build confidence, and find healthy ways to cope with the challenges they are experiencing. My areas of interest include trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and life transitions. I believe everyone has strengths within them, and I want to help clients recognize those strengths and use them to work through difficult experiences. My goal is to help clients build healthy coping skills, feel more confident in themselves, and know that they don't have to go through difficult things alone. Most importantly, I want my clients to feel safe, supported, and accepted for who they are.
