Marissa Cespedes

Mental Health Counselor Student Intern

I create a safe, supportive, and grounded space where clients of all ages feel seen, heard, and cared for. I am especially passionate about working with children and teenagers, helping them navigate emotions, stress, development, life transitions, and mental health challenges with compassion and care. I believe counseling should be a place where clients can explore life’s challenges honestly, build practical tools for growth, and move toward healing with greater confidence and self-understanding. I am especially passionate about working with individuals navigating OCD, anxiety, depression, disabilities, chronic illness, and emotional stress. I value building a counseling relationship rooted in empathy, authenticity, and understanding.

I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Troy University. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Healthcare from the University of South Florida, with a concentration in Children’s Mental Health.

As a student therapist, Marissa works under the supervision of a licensed professional to ensure the highest quality of care for her clients.
