Lauren Fadel
Clinical Psychology Doctoral Student
Lauren Fadel (she/her/hers) is a Therapy Practicum Trainee at the Florida School of
Professional Psychology at National Louis University. She is developing her skills in
psychotherapy and evidence-based clinical care. She holds a master’s degree in clinical
psychology from the Florida School of Professional Psychology and a bachelor’s degree
in psychology from Florida International University.
Lauren’s professional experience includes diagnostic practicum training, during which
she conducted psychological assessments for clients with a wide range of clinical
concerns. She has worked on a mobile crisis response team, where she provided
emotional support, helped clients navigate acute psychological distress, and aided with
follow-up referrals to ensure continuity of care. She has additionally facilitated group
therapy for children and adolescents grieving the death of a loved one. These roles
have deepened her understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of
compassionate, client-centered care.
Optimistic, positive, and warm-hearted, Lauren invites empathy and light into every
interaction. These qualities enable her to build strong rapport with clients and approach
therapy with sensitivity and kindness. She strives to support individuals from all walks of
life and build a supportive and affirming environment. Outside of her studies and clinical
practice, she enjoys long-distance running, heading to movie theaters with friends, and
going to the beach.
As a student therapist, Lauren works under the supervision of a licensed professional to ensure the highest quality of care for her clients.
