 Chana Jaffe

Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student Intern

At the root of my work is the belief that when we can accept the truth of who we are, we begin to access the capacity within ourselves to love, be loved, and ultimately feel more free. This truth can become obscured by trauma, early relational experiences, and the adaptations we develop in order to survive. My approach to therapy is grounded in creating a space where we can slow down and thoughtfully explore what lies beneath the surface.

Through a psychodynamic, attachment-based, and existential lens, we will work to understand patterns in your relationships, emotional experiences, and sense of self. This includes bringing awareness to unconscious processes, past experiences, and internal conflicts that may be shaping your present-day life, while also exploring deeper questions of meaning, identity, and purpose. As insight deepens, there is greater opportunity for choice, integration, and meaningful change.

While I cannot do the work for you, I will be an active and attuned presence alongside you in the process. Together, we will make space for both your pain and your potential, supporting you in uncovering your truth, strengthening your sense of self, and moving toward a life that feels more authentic, purposeful, and fulfilling.
