Liza Koff

Registered Social Work Intern

Hi, I’m Liza — a trauma-informed somatic practitioner, social worker, and movement guide devoted to helping young people feel safe, seen, and strong in their bodies. Through gentle practices like somatic yoga, Body Temple Dance, breathwork, and expressive arts, I create spaces where kids, teens, and young adults can reconnect with themselves, release what no longer serves, and cultivate resilience from the inside out.

I’ve spent years walking with young people through anxiety, depression, disconnection, and the quiet storms of self-doubt and self-harm. My approach weaves together clinical insight with creative movement, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and body-based healing — all grounded in respect, consent, and deep listening. Whether I’m teaching trauma-informed yoga in shelters, guiding dance sessions to help teens reclaim joy, or holding space for inner healing through somatic dialogue, I meet each person where they are.

I believe healing happens in relationship — with ourselves, our bodies, and one another. My work is especially designed for sensitive, soulful kids and teens navigating big feelings, transitions, or past trauma. I also support parents who want holistic, grounded support for their child’s emotional wellbeing.

You’ll find that my offerings are anything but one-size-fits-all. I listen to the nervous system, honor the uniqueness of each story, and follow the body’s wisdom to guide the journey.

This work is sacred to me because I’ve lived it too. And I know that even in the darkest places, there’s always shimmer.

Let’s find your light — together.
