Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
Art has always been a powerful and effective way to express my most inner thoughts, feelings, and ideas about art, relationships, and our collective human experience. I have had a wide range of experience working with a wide range of experience working with clients of all ages, from school-age children to older adults and everything in between. Art Therapy is a fun and effective way to gain a fresh new outlook on the issues that one may have been struggling with for years or can be a great a great way to tackle new problems and difficulties that can be hard to put into words. One of the things I love most about Art Therapy is that imagery is a unversal language and therefore crosses over the limits of culture, differences of upbringing, and societal prejudices such as gender and sexual orientation. I have over a decade of experience using a variety of therapeutic methods including DBT, mindfulness techniques, guided imagery, CBT, as well as Art Therapy.
Originally from Rochester, NY, I have had the pleasure of living in many different states, including Boston, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Indianapolis, and now Saint Petersburg. I am a firm believer in creating the lives of our dreams, not allowing anyone or anything to stop one from achieving their fullest potential.
