Julie I. Jiménez, MA
Registered Clinical Social Work Intern
I’ve been part of the Florida East Central community for around 16years. From where I love, I’ve found peace and a place I can call home, with its magnificent panoramic views and connections to nature. Some of the self-care activities and experiences that Florida scenery offers include watching the sunset near the ocean, listening to the waves, spending time with family, listening to music, dancing, appreciating nature, relaxing and renewing at the beach, and more. I completed graduate studies in Tampa in a bilingual program with a specialty in Clinical Social Work. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in various settings, including private practice, mental health agencies, nonprofit organizations, home health care, and child development centers. During my career, I have had memorable experiences serving a diverse range of populations, including toddlers, children, adolescents, families, older adults, individuals with chronic conditions, cancer survivors, students, neurodiverse individuals. I truly enjoy the process of discovery, where, creatively and collaboratively, we can explore your own self-resources, values, talents, interests, and probably many other elements. Together, we can walk through your journey toward a healthier and brighter life. I welcome you to an autonomous, potentially transformational, authentic, impactful, and even fun experience—one that allows yourself while I walk alongside you through this part of your life's journey. Wherever we may find some stones or rough patches along the way, we can approach them resiliently, using the tools you have already acquired and those you discover along the journey. Together, we can work toward opening a more traversable and hopeful road.
