Group Therapy
Group therapy is a form of psychotherapy that involves one or more therapists working with several people at the same time. Group therapy is an accessible form of therapy that allows you to form new connections and identify with others who have gone through similar struggles. Group therapy is highly effective and has been shown to be as effective as individual therapy. A study conducted by Dr. Gary Burlingame at Brigham Young University determined that group therapy produces the same degree of improvement for several disorders. The study also determined that group therapy exceeds standards for efficacy for major depressive disorder,
bipolar, post-traumatic stress disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder to name a few. Group therapy brings together a sense of common identity and purpose
