Kimberly Carew, BA

Student Mental Health Counselor Intern

You’ve suffered, experienced loss, or have experienced the trauma of assault. You feel lost, alone, or maybe just misunderstood. There seems to be no sense of self and you want to gain a better perspective in areas of your life.
You may have trouble making connections with people, feel socially awkward or isolated, or sometimes your feelings and emotions get in the way of your full potential.
You want to feel more like your authentic self and maybe you aren’t even sure what that looks like, but you are ready to take the steps to make a change. You get caught up in the lives around you and may have never experienced what it looks like to have healthy relationships.
You want a safe space and to feel safe, finally, in your own skin. You are looking to have a sense of fulfillment in your life.
I’m Kimberly Carew and my superpower is empathy and stress reduction. I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student intern here at Cypress Wellness. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgment space for you to do the work of healing. There is so much more to life than just surviving. I want to help you thrive.
I have years of experience working with families and children from toddler to high school years of various capabilities, ethnicities, and backgrounds. I would love to help you journey through your experience and gain an understanding of your being.
