Cayley Baker, MSW
Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern
Cayley utilizes a holistic, social-justice oriented, client-centered approach to assist clients with their wellbeing. She works with children, teens and adults. Cayley recognizes the importance of honoring the needs of their body, mind, and spirit during therapy. She has extensive hospital experience working with adolescent girls struggling with personality disorders (especially Borderline Personality Disorder), eating disorders, complex trauma, and depression. She also specializes in working with the LGBTQIA+ population, self-esteem issues, relationship issues and anxiety.
Through her experiences, Cayley has learned the importance of incorporating mindfulness, compassion, empathy- and certainly humor- into her practice. She understands that this human experience is odd - that it can be filled with bliss, but also sorrow, anger, grief... She adamantly believes that every human being is worthy of accessible mental healthcare, and that everyone deserves the opportunity to prioritize their healing and wellness.
Cayley collaborates with her clients to foster an environment that will honor their needs and takes pride in providing a warm environment that is laid-back, nonjudgemental, and empowering. She believes that therapy is a space for clients to laugh, cry, stretch out, dance around, sit on the floor - whatever it is that allows clients to get comfortable, release, and delve deep into the inner work.
